By recognizing that education is the core part of any successes, Mizizi ya Mafanikio Organization has placed education for youth a priority. This is even reflected into the organization Motto “We are building their Better tomorrow Today. The organization has translated this words into action by selecting the most marginalized girls who have missed their opportunity of studying due to several reasons (poverty, lack of school fees, poor living condition etc) and link these youths with the Vocational Training College where they can choose the right course for them. Good Samaritan normally chose to sponsor them voluntarily to make sure no girl is left behind. Education sponsorship for youth, specifically girls aged 18-24 in Arusha, Tanzania, requires a multifaceted approach. There isn't a one-size-fits-all solution, and the specifics will depend on the individual needs of the girls and boys. The organization reach these girls and boys though the following strategies:
We identifying Needs and Potential:
We involve the local leaders and faith based organization before we approve the girl or boy to be into our education pogramme;
Mizizi ya Mafaniko operate the Women Solidality model whereby the parents of our girls and boys have organized themselves in forming the economic groups. More than 11 groups have been formed and got a legal identity. Through the economic groups, women can operate their savings and credit schemes to start and operate their small businesses.
Arusha Region, with its vibrant culture and tourism industry, presents significant opportunities for women to establish income-generating small businesses. Empowering women economically in this region requires a multifaceted approach, focusing on access to resources, skills development, and supportive networks. Initiatives should concentrate on providing training in areas with high market demand, such as craft production leveraging local materials, hospitality services catering to the tourism sector, and agricultural processing and value addition, capitalizing on the region's fertile lands. Success will hinge on tailoring programs to the specific needs and contexts of different women's groups, acknowledging variations in age, education level, and existing entrepreneurial experience. Women also are trained to learn foreign language as many tours speaks English.
